Carsten Kremser studied aerospace engineering in Bremen and Sweden and has more than 20 years of management experience in global sales, business development, and executive advisory.

After working in the recruitment of specialists, professionals, and executives, team building, and international market development, he moved into top management positions in industry. As Group Chief Sales Officer and member of the Executive Board, he was responsible for global business development, particularly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Europe, Asia, and North America.

This was followed by co-founding and managing a biotechnology/IoT start-up, which he led to Series A.

In 2022, he returned to consulting and joined Kienbaum Consultants International as Director of Executive Search & Leadership Advisory, where he is responsible for C-level and divisional executive search mandates, primarily in the industrial sector.

His focus here is on executive search and advising management in industrial and technology-driven companies as well as in retail. He supports C-level and senior appointments and combines in-depth technical knowledge with proven commercial experience.

Carsten Kremser is an EMBA graduate (University of Zurich, Yale University, Fudan University) and holds a degree in aerospace engineering; he is involved as a consultant at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences.

He regularly moderates management workshops and supports young leaders as a mentor.

Since September 2025, he has been strengthening the team at Below Tippmann & Compagnie Personalberatung GmbH as Director & Associate Partner.

Jürgen Niemann, a communication and political scientist, gathered experience in science and the media sector before shaping his career background through 24 years of strategic and operative personnel work at the Deutsche Bahn (German railways).

 

Jürgen Niemann occupied many different positions in the HR area. He was Head of Management Tools within the DB Group, Managing Director of the DB Executive Academy, Personnel Director of DB Station&Service and of DB Services, which were independent managed entities. As Supervisory Board member of such companies as DB Systel and DB Rolling Stock Maintenance, he filled top positions with varying backgrounds. He was additionally involved during his career in projects for the ongoing development of the personnel function with the Group. The enabling of the digital transformation of the company’s HR area was his task as Head of the Transformation Competence Centre.

 

As Managing Director of the “betterHR” platform, which offered digitised HR solutions to small and medium-sized companies, Jürgen Niemann gained new entrepreneurial experience. Jürgen Niemann’s conviction is that the digitalisation of the relevant content in such a way that access and usage are as simple as possible for the customers, but so that they are not trivialised as a result, is the key challenge for HR platforms of any kind.

In the end it is the work with and for people for which Jürgen Niemann feels a sense of professional obligation. This is precisely where his motivation was at the time of his joining Below Tippmann & Cie. Practical business coaching, the filling of executive positions, the giving of staff recruitment advice, in talent management, but also the changing of business processes are services provided by Below Tippmann & Cie. which have been achieved with Jürgen Niemann. Traffic and mobility, technical services, safety and security, media and communication are the sectors in which he is comfortable.

 

In the time remaining for him to spend on voluntary work, Jürgen Niemann sits on the Management Board of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Among his tasks there he is spokesman for the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

After graduating in business administration at the Free University of Berlin, Georg Misgeld began his business career as a consultant at Kienbaum Berlin GmbH in 2007. Here he managed recruitment projects for executives and skilled personnel. Georg Misgeld also developed and implemented HR-associated topics such as remuneration issues, site analyses and outsourcing of HR tasks.

In 2011 he moved to a leading, international IT and management consultancy. As a manager he was especially in the context of the “digital transformation” responsible for the development and the implementation of complex strategy projects; also in relation to HR issues after re-organisations and post-merger integration situations.

Since September 2016 Georg Misgeld has been working at Below Tippmann & Compagnie Personalberatung GmbH (personnel consultancy) as Managing Partner. He applies his many years of experience in the search and selection of executives and skilled personnel as well as his expertise as project manager in the analysis, conception and implementation of organisational and strategic issues.

His sector focus has been on energy supply companies, telecommunications companies, production industries, portfolio companies, automotive industries, public services, media and service providers. The specialist functional areas which he covers are IT & Project Management (focus digitization), Sales & Marketing, Engineering and Finance & Accounting. Georg Misgeld has gained knowledge of corporate groups, medium-sized companies and start-ups from his extensive project work.

Simone Pfister has an M.A. in political sciences at the University of Augsburg. After completing her studies she was responsible for the Personnel Development department in one of the leading German medical publishing houses (today Reed Elsevier) and later had responsibility for the development and sale of seminars in the institute for further education of the Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group. In 2004 she moved into personnel consultancy – initially at the Berlin office of the US-American consultants, Heidrick & Struggles Executive Search. From 2005 to June 2013 she was at Kienbaum Executive Consultants, firstly as a Consultant, later as a Senior Consultant and most recently as a Principal.

 

Simone Pfister has more than 24 years of experience in HR issues and joined the founding team of Below Tippmann & Compagnie Personalberatung GmbH in July 2013 as Managing Partner. She has had many years of experience both in the recruitment and Newplacement sectors. Her range of human resources skills is rounded off by career coaching and business coaching.

 

Within the recruitment area she advises German domestic and international customers of all sizes on the filling of executive and specialist positions in all company areas. Her specific industry expertise in this work is in life sciences, chemicals and research organisations on whose behalf she recruits within domestic and global candidate networks (R&D, production, sales & marketing and commercial areas). Additionally, she works for retail, the public sector and industries with innovative engineering processes. In the Newplacement sector she works for companies across all sectors with a placement ratio since 2006 of almost 100 %. Ms Pfister is involved in the VBKI, the Association of Berlin Merchants and Industrialists, the VDU, the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs and in the Healthy City Initiative “Gesundheitsstadt Berlin”.
